About the hotel
Grand Hotel Fasano stands in its own park on the shore at Gardone Riviera, a genteel old resort on the western side of Lake Garda. Built as a hunting lodge for the Austrian imperial family, it has kept a gracious, slightly old-world charm, with lawns running down to a private stretch of lakeshore. It suits couples, and families who like a classic grand hotel with easy lake swimming.
Rooms are split between the main building and Villa Principe in the grounds, and many have lake-view balconies. Days can be spent between the private beach, the outdoor pool and the spa, which has an indoor pool, sauna and steam rooms.
