About the hotel

Villa Feltrinelli is a grand nineteenth-century villa right on the water near Gargnano, with lawns, tall trees and its own boats. With only twenty rooms spread across the villa and a few houses in the grounds, it feels like staying on a private estate rather than in a hotel. It suits couples, honeymooners and special occasions where you want to be looked after quietly and very well.

Rooms keep the villa's painted ceilings, carved wood and antiques, while the cottages in the grounds, including a boathouse, give extra privacy. After an unhurried breakfast, the day goes on the heated pool by the lake, a game of croquet or a trip out on one of the hotel's boats. Dinner on the pergola terrace, with careful and creative Italian cooking, is the highlight.

Rooms

Twenty rooms and suites in the villa and cottages around the gardens. Open seasonally, roughly April to October.
