About the hotel
Katathani sits on Kata Noi, a quieter beach at the southern end of Phuket's west coast, with green headlands on either side. It is big, relaxed and very family-friendly, with room to spread out and a lovely stretch of sand on the doorstep. It suits families who want space, pools and good value, and couples happy with a sociable atmosphere and an easy-going beach.
Rooms and suites are spread across the grounds, close to the beach. There are six pools, several aimed at families, plus children's pools and a small water slide. Restaurants include Chanadda for Thai food, La Scala for Italian and Fisherman's Wharf for seafood. Days might include the spa, the dive school and the kids' club with its soft play, and an all-inclusive plan is available.
