About the hotel

Anse Chastanet is set on a forested hillside near Soufrière, above two beaches of dark volcanic sand and a bay with a reef that is popular for snorkelling. It is a relaxed, natural place rather than a polished one, and suits couples, divers and anyone who would rather be outdoors than by a pool. Jade Mountain, its sister hotel, stands higher up the same hill.

Rooms are scattered up the slope, many with open fronts that look out over the sea to the Pitons, so the view is part of the room. Food is served in restaurants on the beach and on the hill, and the resort has its own dive centre. Days tend to mean snorkelling or a dive in the morning, walking trails through the grounds and a slow, sociable dinner.

Rooms

Hillside rooms and suites, many open to the view, plus beachfront rooms by the sand.
