About the hotel

On the quieter west coast near Guía de Isora, Abama is a vast estate of gardens and terracotta buildings on a clifftop, with a little train down to its own beach and La Gomera on the horizon. It feels like a world of its own. Families love the space and the Ritz Kids club, couples come for the food, and golfers have a championship course right on site.

Rooms sit in the main citadel or in villa-style buildings among the gardens, many with sea views. Food is the big draw, from the two-Michelin-star M.B to Akira Back's Japanese cooking and the Basque grill by the pool. A day might be a swim in one of several outdoor pools, nine holes before lunch, then dinner looking out over the Atlantic.

Rooms

Rooms and suites in the main building or garden villas, many looking out to sea and La Gomera.
