On the seafront at Playa Blanca, with Playa Dorada right below, Princesa Yaiza is one of the island's best-loved family resorts. It is large but well thought out, with shops, restaurants and gardens arranged like a small village. It suits families with children of any age, from babies to teenagers, and couples who want good food and an easy walk into town.
Rooms are roomy suites, many with a separate living area and sea views. Children are looked after in clubs split by age, from toddlers to teens, with a play park, sports pitches and an amphitheatre. Adults can retreat to the spa with its Turkish baths and tea house. Dinner rotates between the buffet and several à la carte restaurants, including Italian and Canarian kitchens.
