About the hotel

On the coast just west of Dubrovnik's old town, the Rixos sits right above the water with terraces stepping down to the sea. You can walk to the Pile Gate along the coastal path, yet it feels removed from the summer crowds. It suits couples who want a spa and a swim after a day of sightseeing, and families who want a kids' club close to the city.

Rooms are modern and bright, many with balconies facing the Adriatic. Breakfast and dinner are served at Turquoise, with seafood at Libertas and Japanese teppanyaki at Umi on other nights. Mornings might be the walls of the old town before the heat, afternoons a swim from the rocks or the outdoor pool, and evenings a sauna and hammam session before dinner.
